Itinerary
Zurich HB – Landesmuseum
Meet under the main clock at Zürich HB. Walk to the Swiss National Museum for an exterior photo stop and introduction to Zurich.
This is walking tour. Comfortable shoes are recommended. The tour operates in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately for the season. Also don’t forget your water bottle. I encourage you to bring your own bottle and we can refill it at the fountains along the way.
Limmat River Cruise
Take the Limmat boat from Landesmuseum area toward Bürkliplatz. Enjoy Zurich’s Old Town and riverside views.
*only operate April – October, on winter this activity will be replaced by going along the banks of the Limmat river using a Tram/ leisurely walk to Bürkliplatz
Paradeplatz – Sprüngli
Walk through central Zurich toward Paradeplatz. Optional 10 mins chocolate stop at Zurich’s iconic confectionery store.
3-münsters
Discover the church and it’s famous stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall at Fraumünster. Exterior visit only, interior entry optional if time and admission condition allow. Then passing Münsterbrucke for photo stop on one of Zurich’s most scenic bridge, connecting Fraumünster and Grossmünster. And after, explore the iclonic twin-towered church and hear about Huldrych Zwingli and the Swiss Reformation.
Cabaret Voltaire/ Spiegelgasse
Discover the birthplace of the Dada Art movement and the historic Spiegelgasse quarter. Next, walk through one of Zurich’s oldest riverside quarters, Schipfe. Historically associated with craftsmen and trade along the Limmat.
Lindenhof & Sweet Moments
Climb gently to the historic hilltop viewpoint for panoramic views over the Old Town, Limat and surrounding city. Here we will enjoy Zürich Sweet Moment, taste a traditional Zürich Tirggel & Swiss sweets while enjoying the panorama. Psstt.. here also where the famous KDrama ‘’Crash Landing on You’’ take one of their shot.
Polybahn & ETH
Walk to Central and board the historic Polybahn funicular. Enjoy one of Zurich’s best elevated city views and explore the ETH area. Then discover ETH Zurich’c connection with Albert Einstein. Specific interior access is subject to availabilty.
Finish
Walk back via Banhofstrasse and finish the tour at Zurich HB
